Overview

CAFG&S members are supported by a full-time, professional staff.

Executive Vice President:
The Executive Vice President is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the association, provides direction in the development of member services, promotional activities, transportation programs, general administrative issues, and California Floral Convention, formerly known as Fun 'N Sun Weekend®. In addition, the Executive Vice President provides representation for the membership and acts as the association's spokesperson and liaison with other floral organizations.

Director of Transportation:
The Director of Transportation administers, maintains and actively promotes CAFG&S transportation programs to members and potential members.  The Director of Transportation also assists in developing new transportation programs for the membership, including working with the vendors to negotiate contracts.  Functions as a liaison between members and carriers.  Produces all transportation related communications to the membership including updates and the Transportation Talk newsletter articles.

Business Administration Manager / Special Events Coordinator:

The Business Administration Manager is responsible for the management of the association office functions and provides support to the CAFG&S Board President. In addition, she acts as the administrator of all bookkeeping functions, payroll and employee benefits as well as all business related inquiries. As Special Events Coordinator, Monnaie plans and assists in the execution of the bi-annual California Floral Convention, formerly known as Fun ‘N Sun Weekend®, and the bi-annual Member Meeting.

Director of Publications/ Membership Services:

The Director of Publications / Membership Services is responsible for the coordination and administration of all association programs including promotional activities, association advertising and collateral materials. In addition, she acts as the editor of the CAFG&S Membership Directory, the monthly newsletter Floral Facts, the Wage and Benefit Survey and the Del Sol Club Book. Linda gives member support for all transportation inquiries and updates, prepares and sends out the annual dues invoices to the membership, processes all membership applications and acts as a liaison for member committees. She actively participates in the planning and execution of the California Floral Convention, formerly known as Fun ‘N Sun Weekend®.

Accounts Manager:

The Accounting Manager / Trade Show Coordinator is responsible for managing the billing of all association programs and the invoicing of Floral and Ag Buddy members using the CAFG&S transportation programs OnTrac, UPS and FedEx. In addition, she handles all payables, collections, and registrations for both the Member Meeting and California Floral Convention, formerly known as Fun ‘N Sun Weekend®. She further assists in planning for the convention by acting as the Trade Show Coordinator.
