2007 MEMBER MEETING
A BIG SUCCESS

The CAFG&S 2nd bi-annual Member Meeting took place at the Embassy Suites Hotel in
San Luis Obispo on September 12, 2007.

The FedEx sponsored Member Meeting was attended by 75 association members and 12 vendors.

Attendees, all vendors, and CAFG&S staff had the opportunity to meet face-to-face at the Vendor Reception, which for some members, was their first introduction. Each member had the chance to ask questions about their services and to find out first hand what they have to
offer.

Vendors set-up tables displaying informative literature, product displays, and other take away items about their companies.

During the sit down buffet lunch CAFG&S's President, Mike Franzoia presented Kim Kudo with an award for being the 2007 Member Meeting Chair.

The Question & Answer Session of the Member Meeting was delivered by FedEx representative Pete Leary, who provided a useful insight into shipping and logistic needs for CAFG&S members. A FedEx panel was able to answer valid transportation concerns.

The Question & Answer session was complemented by members interaction. Association members with help from the FedEx panel, where able to resolve problem areas in transportation, shipping costs, and find solutions to communication problems. Members found the meeting "Very
informative and helpful".
